Why Your Boot SSD Needs a Bulk Storage Partner

SSDs make PCs fast, but high-capacity SSDs are expensive. Large game libraries, photo archives and video files fill them quickly, forcing constant clean-ups.

The Seagate BarraCuda 8TB adds 8TB of low-cost storage alongside your SSD. SMR recording increases density to keep cost per terabyte low; it is best suited to desktop storage rather than NAS or RAID rebuild-heavy use. This listing is a 2-pack of identical drives, matched for building or expanding a RAID set in one order.

Desktop-Tuned Performance

The 256MB cache and 5400 RPM spindle handle game installs, media playback and backups smoothly for everyday use.

Easy Installation and Backup

The standard 3.5-inch SATA design fits nearly every desktop, and Seagate DiscWizard helps you clone or back up your data.
