Platform Requirements

How to Install the Intel Optane Persistent Memory 200 Series 128GB

1. Confirm your server and BIOS support Optane Persistent Memory 200 Series.
2. Install PMem modules in the slots specified by the server’s population guide, alongside DRAM.
3. Configure Memory Mode or App Direct in BIOS or with ipmctl.
4. Create namespaces (App Direct) and verify capacity in the OS.
