Epson FastFoto FF-680W Wireless High-Speed Photo and Document Scanner – 1 Photo per Second, Duplex

The Epson FastFoto FF-680W is a wireless high-speed photo and document scanner for families, archivists, and photo businesses. It scans prints as fast as one photo per second at 300 dpi, feeds 36 photos per batch, and also scans documents at up to 45 pages per minute in duplex.

Deep-Dive Story & Problem/Solution

Boxes of Printed Photos Are Hard to Share and Easy to Lose

Decades of family prints sit in shoeboxes and albums where they fade and cannot be shared. Scanning them on a flatbed takes about a minute per photo, which makes a collection of thousands impractical.

The FF-680W feeds a stack of up to 36 prints and scans each one in about a second at 300 dpi, with 600 dpi available for archiving and 1200 dpi mode for enlargements.

FastFoto software restores faded color, removes red eye, and organizes files by year, month, or subject. It can save an enhanced copy alongside the original scan.

Handles Mixed Photo Sizes

Prints from wallet size to 8 x 10 inches, Polaroids, postcards, and panoramas up to 36 inches long feed through a gentle path.

Document Scanner Included

A 100-sheet document capacity, 45 ppm duplex speed, and OCR software cover receipts, tax records, and paperwork.
