It provides 10,000 RPM performance, a 12Gb/s SAS interface and native 512-byte sectors for Lenovo ThinkSystem servers such as the SR630 and ST550, making it a direct expansion or replacement drive for business-critical server storage.

How to Install the Lenovo 7XB7A00027

1. Confirm your ThinkSystem server has a free 2.5-inch SAS hot-swap bay and a RAID adapter that supports 12Gb/s SAS drives.
2. Remove the bay filler, open the drive tray release latch and slide the drive into the bay until it seats against the backplane.
3. Close the latch to lock the drive in place. The server can remain powered on during installation.
4. Use Lenovo XClarity Controller or the RAID configuration utility to add the drive to an array, assign it as a hot spare or start a rebuild.
