How to Install the Micron 5400 MAX 480GB

1. Back up data and confirm your server or NAS accepts third-party 2.5-inch SATA SSDs.
2. Mount the SSD in a 2.5-inch drive carrier.
3. Insert it into a SATA or SAS/SATA bay; hot-plug where the backplane supports it.
4. Configure the drive in your RAID controller or OS, and install Micron Storage Executive for monitoring.
