How to Set Up the QNAP TS-473A

1. Install 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch SATA drives (sold separately) in the trays – use NAS-rated CMR drives.
2. Connect the NAS to your router or switch with an Ethernet cable and power it on.
3. Use Qfinder Pro or the web installer to install QTS and create a storage pool and RAID level.
4. Create shared folders, user accounts and backup or snapshot schedules.
