Replacing Old Projectors Means Matching the Existing Throw Distance

When an old projector fails, the mount is usually already fixed 15 feet or more from the screen. A replacement with a short zoom range will not fill the screen from that position, and moving the mount means new cabling and ceiling work.

The LS741HD’s 1.40–2.24:1 lens with 1.6x zoom covers the throw distances of most legacy installs. A 120-inch 16:9 image can be achieved from roughly 12.2 to 19.5 feet.

The laser engine outputs 5,000 ANSI lumens while consuming about 210W and is rated for 20,000 hours in normal mode or 30,000 in Eco, eliminating the lamp cycle of the unit it replaces.
