How to Install the WD Purple 2TB in a DVR or NVR

1. Power off the recorder and open the drive bay or chassis.
2. Connect the SATA data and power cables and secure the drive with the recorder’s screws.
3. Power on and format (initialise) the drive in the DVR/NVR storage menu.
4. Set recording schedules and overwrite rules, then confirm cameras are recording.
