1. Check your motherboard uses the AM5 socket and update its BIOS to a version that supports the Ryzen 5 8600G.
2. Open the socket retention mechanism, align the CPU’s markings with the socket and lower it in without force.
3. Install the included cooler (thermal paste is pre-applied) and connect the fan header.
4. Connect your display, boot into BIOS, enable your memory’s EXPO/XMP profile and install the latest chipset drivers.
