Deep-Dive Story & Problem/Solution
Bright Projectors Often Get Color Wrong, and Film Fans Notice
Many home projectors chase lumens at the expense of color. Skin tones turn green or orange, and shadows lose detail. In a dedicated dark room, that extra brightness is wasted while the inaccuracy remains visible.
The HT2060 takes the opposite approach. Its 4LED light source and single-chip DLP engine cover 98% of Rec.709 and extend toward DCI-P3, with a 500,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. Output of 2,300 lumens is matched to dark and dim rooms.
LED also means no lamp. The light source is rated for 20,000 hours in normal mode and 30,000 in Eco, and color stays more consistent over that time than a lamp’s.
Accurate Cinema Color With HDR
HDR10 and HLG content is tone-mapped for the projector’s capabilities, and 4K signals are accepted over two HDMI 2.0 ports. Full HD 3D is supported.
Setup Flexibility and Low Upkeep
A 1.15–1.50:1 lens fits a 100-inch image from about 8.4 to 10.9 feet. Vertical lens shift and horizontal and vertical keystone ease alignment; noise is 33dB (28dB Eco).
