Deep-Dive Story & Problem/Solution
Small Rooms and Slow Projectors Both Hold Back Big-Screen Gaming
Gamers in apartments and bedrooms face two obstacles: not enough distance for a large image, and projectors that process video too slowly. Either one makes a monitor look like the safer choice.
The TH671ST uses a 0.69–0.83:1 short throw lens with 1.2x zoom, so 100 inches needs only about 5 to 6 feet. Players sit behind the projector and never cross the beam.
A low-latency signal path produces 16.4ms input lag at 1080p/60Hz and around 8ms at 120Hz. The 240W lamp provides 3,000 ANSI lumens with a 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.
100 Inches From Five Feet With Low Lag
Native 1080p resolution and Game Mode tuning keep detail visible in dark scenes. Image sizes from about 60 to 300 inches are supported.
Compact and Ready to Play
The projector weighs 6 lbs and offers HDMI with MHL, VGA in/out, two USB ports, RS-232, and audio connections. Fan noise is 33dB, or 29dB in Eco mode.
