Large Screens Reveal the Limits of 1080p

On a 150 or 200-inch screen, Full HD pixels become visible from the front rows, and small text in engineering or medical imagery loses definition. Venues that upgrade the screen without upgrading resolution end up with a bigger but softer image.

The LS901-4K projects 3840 x 2160 from a 0.65-inch DLP chip at 5,500 ANSI lumens. That provides four times the pixel count of 1080p with enough output to hold contrast in a lit room.

A 1.20–2.04:1 lens with 1.7x zoom and vertical lens shift simplifies installation, while the laser phosphor source lasts 20,000 hours in normal mode and 30,000 in Eco.

4K Detail for Large Audiences

HDR and HLG compatibility through two HDMI 2.0 inputs extends dynamic range for video. Supported image sizes run from 30 to 300 inches.
