Deep-Dive Story & Problem/Solution
Lamp Warm-Up and Lag Get in the Way of Quick Gaming Sessions
With a lamp projector, a short gaming session means waiting for warm-up, then cooling the unit down before moving it. Many models also add noticeable input lag. Both make a projector feel like an occasion device, not an everyday display.
The LX700-4K uses a laser phosphor source that reaches brightness in seconds and lasts up to 30,000 hours in Eco mode. Typical power draw is about 180W, far below lamp-based 4K units.
An ultra-fast input mode achieves 4.2ms lag. The projector accepts 1080p at 240Hz and 1440p at 120Hz, and shows native 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz for films with HDR10 and HLG.
4K Laser Image With Fast Response
A 3,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio adds depth to dark scenes. Image sizes from 30 to 300 inches are supported, with a 100-inch picture from about 2.34 meters.
Flexible Placement and Quiet Running
The 1.06–1.45 throw ratio, 1.36x zoom, vertical lens shift, and H/V keystone with 4-corner adjustment accommodate off-center placement. Noise is 31dB at full brightness and 26dB in Eco, and a 15W speaker is built in.
