Deep-Dive Story & Problem/Solution
Lamps Fade, and Small Rooms Leave No Space for a Long Throw
Lamp-based projectors lose brightness steadily and typically need a new lamp after a few thousand hours. They also take time to warm up and cool down, which discourages casual use. In a small room, the long throw distance compounds the problem.
The GT2000HDR replaces the lamp with a laser phosphor light source rated for 30,000 hours. It reaches full brightness almost immediately, tolerates frequent on/off cycles, and draws only about 139W, well under half the power of comparable lamp models.
Its 0.50:1 lens means distance equals half the image width. Set the 6.6 lb unit on a coffee table and it fills a wall, with nobody walking through the beam. Horizontal and vertical keystone allow for off-center placement.
Laser Brightness From a Short Distance
3,500 lumens with a 300,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio produces a punchy 1080p image, and HDR10 and HLG compatibility lets 4K HDR sources play correctly. A low-latency mode brings input lag down to 8.6ms for gaming.
Small, Efficient, and Maintenance-Free
The sealed laser engine has no lamp and no filter to service. A built-in 15W speaker is loud enough for casual movie nights, and the compact body makes backyard or travel use realistic.
