The Gigabyte B660M DS3H AX DDR4 is a Micro-ATX motherboard for Intel 12th to 14th Gen processors on LGA 1700. It supports up to 128GB of DDR4, two PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSDs with heatsinks, 2.5GbE, Wi-Fi 6 and USB-C. It suits budget gaming, home and office builds.
Modern Intel Performance on a Practical Budget
Upgrading to a 12th to 14th Gen Intel processor gives a large performance jump, but premium boards and DDR5 memory push the cost up. Many users want the new CPU without paying for features they will not use.
The B660M DS3H AX DDR4 keeps costs down by supporting DDR4 memory while still offering PCIe 4.0 for graphics and storage, 2.5GbE networking and Wi-Fi 6. The “AX” suffix marks the wireless version, so no separate Wi-Fi card is needed.
PCIe 4.0 Graphics and Dual NVMe
A PCIe 4.0 x16 slot runs current graphics cards at full bandwidth. Two PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slots with Thermal Guard heatsinks support fast NVMe drives, and four SATA 6Gb/s ports handle additional SSDs or hard drives.
Display, Network and USB
HDMI and dual DisplayPort outputs support multi-monitor setups with Intel integrated graphics. A 2.5GbE LAN port, Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth 5, a rear USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port and 8-channel HD audio cover daily connectivity.
