It prints an A1 drawing in about 45 seconds at up to 2400 x 1200 optimized dpi, feeds from a roll with an automatic cutter, and connects through Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, or USB.
Deep-Dive Story & Problem/Solution
Small Design Teams Need Plots Without a Print Room
Sole practitioners and small studios often rely on outside print services for A1 drawings. Each revision costs time, and last-minute changes before a site meeting are difficult to print.
The DesignJet T210 is sized and priced for a small office. It prints CAD lines with fine detail using HP 712 inks, with dye-based color and pigment black for sharp text.
HP Click software sends PDF, JPEG, and HP-GL/2 files in one click, and the HP Smart app allows printing from a phone on site.
Media Handling
The printer takes rolls up to 24 inches wide and single sheets through the top feed. An automatic sheet feeder for A3/A4 stacks is available as an optional accessory.
Efficient Ink Use
HP reports up to 95% less ink used for routine maintenance than comparable plotters, helping control running costs.
