The ASRock B660M Pro RS is a Micro-ATX motherboard for Intel 12th and 13th Gen processors on LGA 1700. It supports up to 128GB of DDR4, two PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slots, two PCIe x16 slots and HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. It suits gamers and home-office users building a compact, cost-conscious Intel system.
Modern Intel Platform Without the DDR5 Premium
Intel’s 12th and 13th Gen processors give a large jump in performance, but DDR5 memory and premium motherboards can double the upgrade cost. Many builders already own good DDR4 kits.
The B660M Pro RS supports DDR4 across four slots, up to 128GB, while delivering PCIe 4.0 for both graphics and storage. You get the CPU upgrade and fast NVMe drives without replacing memory.
PCIe 4.0 Graphics and Storage
The primary PCIe x16 slot runs at PCIe 4.0 from the CPU, and two M.2 slots support PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSDs. A second x16-size slot and a PCIe x1 slot accept expansion cards, while four SATA3 ports handle additional drives.
Solid Everyday Connectivity
HDMI and DisplayPort outputs support dual displays with Intel integrated graphics. USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 2.0 ports, onboard LAN, HD audio and the Phantom Gaming-inspired Pro RS heatsink design cover daily use.
